Few people know about the Turn-O-Graph watches of Rolex and some people even never heard this name. Only the loyal fans of Rolex may spend much time exploring the history of the instrument watches.
Origin of Turn-O-Graph
Rolex invented the concept of instrument watches, defining the functional watches including the Turn-O-Graph, Submariner, GMT-Master, Explorer, Milgauss, Daytona and Yacht-Master. As early as in 1937, the perfect fake Rolex instrument watches were created already but the procedure was delayed due to the Second World War.
The Oystersteel case copy watch on the picture was released in 1937 which was the brand’s first watch equipped with the chronograph movement. Meanwhile, it was the first model with the rotatable bezel. It was the brand’s earliest instrument watch which had always been considered as the ancestor of Rolex instrument watch. This watch was the bridge to the Turn-O-Graph, Submariner, Daytona and so on.
